Lanny Lewis

Lanny grew up in rural Northwest Missouri. He always enjoyed school and learning. He started his teaching career in the Kansas City, Missouri School District and taught middle school and high school in the areas of math and science and special education.  Of the 27 years with KCPS he taught for 20 years and was a building level administrator for 12 years. After retiring from KCPS he joined Grain Valley School District teaching math and science courses in the resource and co-teaching classrooms at the high school level. Elizabeth Ramirez

Ms. Ramirez is a self-contained teacher in an autism classroom in New Jersey at C. Richard Applegate School. She has extensive experience in the Kindergarten through 2nd grades, but this September Elizabeth will loop into the 3rd through the 5th-grade population. She is excited to work with older students and testing. Her undergraduate was double majoring in psychology and sociology and minored in women’s studies. Quantitative methods and Social Sciences was her master's area of study and came to education from the field of market research.  Read more >
