State Partnerships
The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)'s state partnerships allow school leaders to directly improve teacher retention by investing in our most important resource—our educators—with a complete professional support package from CEC.
Special educators entering the field are enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to take on any challenge. Those challenges often take their toll before novice teachers can develop the experience to fortify their stamina and the resilience to be veteran teachers. As a result, we see too many educators leave their profession in their first several years of teaching.
Administrators and Directors of Special Education know first-hand how special educator shortages impact your schools, your staff, and your students. Now, you want solutions. Join other State Departments of Education who have enjoyed deep discounts by partnering with the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) to give the special educators in their state the support they need.
