Student Chapters

Three woman posing outside

Welcome!

We are excited you want to learn more about CEC Student Chapters. As the future of special education, we depend on you and your colleagues to keep moving the profession forward and increasing the success of students with exceptionalities. CEC is here to support you, as are the leaders of your local state or provincial unit. You can find your unit contact information on our website here: https://exceptionalchildren.org/engage/units . All CEC Student Chapters are authorized or recognized by their local unit. CEC National does not provide authorization and does not issue or regulate chapter requirements.

On this page you will find resources to help you and your student chapter, whether you are just getting started or looking to improve your practice and expand your horizons. However, we encourage you to connect with your unit to ensure compliance before using any resources provided by CEC National.

We wish you luck and look forward to hearing from you and your student chapter! Please feel free to reach out, our contact information can be found below.

Sincerely,

Caroline Schwartz, Component Services Manager

Brannan Meyers, Director of Component Services
