Flyer for Town Hall. Theme is "Policy in Practice: Why advocacy matters for students and early career professionals"

Join us for an engaging and informative session that explores the real-world impact of current legislative issues on students and early career professionals in special education. You will hear from Kuna Tavalin, CEC’s Senior Policy & Advocacy Advisor who will break down key policies and explain how these decisions made on Capitol Hill directly affect your work and the students you serve.

Designed with emerging professionals in mind, this session will help you understand the "why" behind advocacy, and how your voice can drive meaningful change. You'll hear from experienced advocates, as well as fellow students and early career members who are already making a difference. Whether you're new to advocacy or looking to get more involved, this conversation will equip you with the insights and motivation to take the next step.
