The following opportunities are currently available:
Student and Early Career Committee: 2 positions (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2023)
The Student and Early Career Committee advises the Board of Directors on ways to recruit and support individuals entering the profession, especially those from diverse backgrounds, and enhance the experience of student and early career members. It also conducts events for students and early-career teachers at the annual Convention to help improve their practice, network with peers, and maximize their learning experience.
Student Representative to the Representative Assembly: 1 position (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2023)
The Student Representatives to the Representative Assembly (RA) are the voice of CEC student members. This membership advisory body provides input to the Board on issues related to strategic direction, professional policies, and other issues impacting the field of special education. This position is elected by CEC Student members. Student RA Representatives also serve on the Student and Early Career Committee.
