OSEP Provides New Q&A on IDEA Part C Provision of Services During COVID-19
Last week, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) released a document that responds to concerns about the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C provisions during COVID-19.
The document explains how early intervention resources can and should be provided in conformity with individualized family service for infants and toddlers with disabilities covered under Part C.
While the Q&A document is meant to provide clarity to the public, the guidance does not have the force and effect of the law and is not binding to the public.
