IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association Publishes State Profiles

ICTA Part C logo

The IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association (ITCA) has published state profiles that provide specific details surrounding implementation of Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The state profiles include details such as lead agency type and number of agency staff, eligibility criteria and tools, funding sources, and more.

ITCA also published six matrices that compare state responses across topics, namely funding, service coordination, basis of authority, lead agency, eligibility tool, and provider structures. The matrices will also allow states to identify high performing states from whom they can glean best practices.

Both the state profiles and topical matrices will help states identify others with similar structures and see the many ways in which states approach Part C implementation. ITCA encourages states to communicate directly with one another to ask questions and obtain information on IDEA implementation and structures.
