Department of Education Seeks Peer Reviewers
On Saturday, the U.S Department of Education (ED) announced that it is seeking individuals to serve as peer reviewers for competitive grant funding.
While ED is seeking peer reviewers on an ongoing basis, the notice specifically highlights needs for the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Postsecondary Education, and the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Submissions to become a peer reviewer are accepted on a rolling basis but must be received four weeks prior to the program’s application deadline, located on the grant forecast webpage.
Why this matters to CEC members: This is an opportunity to lend your expertise to the federal grantmaking process.
A complete list of grants that require peer review can be on the ED grant forecast webpage, here.
