Congress and Federal Agencies spent the last few weeks preparing for a likely government shutdown, which was narrowly avoided over the weekend during a rare Saturday session. Hear Kuna Tavalin, CEC's Senior Policy and Advocacy Advisor, for a What's Happening in Washington to learn more about how current politics are coloring progress on CEC's legislative and appropriations priorities. We will also discuss how a Congressional impasse impacts the U.S. Department of Education and possible paths forward. A Q&A session is included at the end of this video.
