Brian Ferrell
Brian Ferrell, CMP, DMCP, is an award-winning entrepreneur and leader in the event, hospitality, and destination management industries. He is the founder and owner of factor 110, Destination Oklahoma, 110 events, and Blue Circle Productions. Under his leadership, factor 110 has become the region’s leading event and destination management company and remains the first and only accredited destination management company in Oklahoma.
Originally from Kansas, Ferrell moved to Oklahoma to launch his career in event and destination management after earlier roles in communications and association leadership. Through factor 110, he has become a strong supporter of the mission of the Council for Exceptional Children, working alongside CEC, Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), and other divisions to help create meaningful conferences, leadership experiences, and programs that support educators, administrators, and students across the country. His work focuses on building experiences that foster connection, learning, advocacy, and impact within the education community.
Ferrell has been recognized as one of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs and a recipient of The Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 award. His companies have earned numerous honors, including Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces and placement on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies. In 2024, ConventionSouth recognized him as its Best of the Best Meeting Planner.
An active industry leader, Ferrell is a past president of the Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI) and currently serves on several nonprofit and tourism-related boards. He holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP), Sustainable Event Professional Certificate (SEPC), and Emergency Preparedness Certificate credentials.
Ferrell earned a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in journalism, communications, and business from Emporia State University.
