The election to fill two positions on the Board of Directors will open on September 14 and close at 11:59 pm ET, October 5th. You will be able to rank all candidates. Elected members will serve one four-year term, beginning January 1, 2027.

All members with an email on file as of Sept. 1 will be sent an email via SurveyMonkey with a unique link to vote on September 14. If you do not receive an email by Sept. 15, please check your spam folder.  

Paper ballots are available and can be mailed to you upon request to Jake Minor, CEC's Director of Operations and Governance, [email protected]; or by downloading the ballot at the link below. You can submit this paper ballot either by mailing it in to CEC (Council for Exceptional Children, ATTN: Election, 3100 Clarendon Blvd., Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22201) or emailing it to Jake Minor, [email protected]. 

Note that all ballots must be received by 11:59 PM ET on October 5, 2026. Do not use this paper ballot if you have already voted using your unique link to the online ballot that was sent via email.
