Lessons Learned
- Accessible communication is crucial for everyone - it is essential to a person’s sense of connection to the world
- Much of our communication happens through our heart, not our mind. Children can feel when we are communicating from a place of love and that invites the possibility for more love and connection within them.
- Being an Optimist is for the strong of heart! It requires daily commitment to align with the good in the world and be a beacon of hope in the lives of children who experience systemic oppression.
