Lessons Learned

  • Parents, trust your instincts.  So many stories begin with “I knew something didn’t seem right…”
  • Behavior is communication.  Look and listen for changes in behavior and mood and respond in a caring, open way.
  • One caring adult can change the trajectory of a child’s life.  Be that one caring adult and educate others on how to spread Protective Factors to all children.
