President-Elect Trump Selects Linda McMahon to Lead ED

President-elect Donald Trump has selected Linda McMahon to lead the U.S. Department of Education (ED). McMahon played a major role in the president-elect’s campaign and currently serves on his transition team, drafting potential executive orders. She will likely oversee the president-elect’s campaign promise to overhaul the ED if confirmed.

Before her work on the Trump campaign, McMahon chaired the America First Policy Institute, a conservative think-tank and policy group whose educational goals include expanding school choice and establishing micro-schools.
