The U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) seeks feedback by November 15th for a draft version of Individuals with Disabilities Playbook: Unlocking Career Success for Special Populations. The playbook is designed to help students with disabilities successfully participate in the workforce through high school preparation and career-connected learning. This playbook is “designed to shed light on the needs of specific student groups, such as those with disabilities, where there are certain protections, programs, or sources of funding that may be unique to that population.” A feedback form is provided to give thoughts about what works, what needs improvement, and ideas for additional sources of information or exemplars that should be included.
