OESE Seeks Feedback on BSCA Frequently Asked Questions Booklet

The Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) seeks public comment on a booklet of frequently asked questions for the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) Stronger Connections Grant Program. In response to inquiries from state and local education authorities, the booklet has been designed to provide guidance for the effective use of funds to achieve the program’s purpose to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments. Contents include an overview of the program, use of funds, additional allowable use of funds, prohibited use of funds, and equitable services. In seeking responses, OESE is especially interested in comments that enhance the clarity of the document as a whole and identify unanswered questions. Responses will be used to make revisions to the document as needed.
