Happy Teacher Appreciation Week 2026!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all teachers and educators, especially those in special education. Day in and day out, teachers show up and make a lasting, positive impact on their students and communities.

Throughout this week, CEC will highlight some amazing special educators and supportive administrators on our social media. Follow along on Facebook, LinkedIn, Blue Sky, and Instagram.

To show our appreciation to teachers this week, we’ve gifted five exceptional education departments! We received over one hundred and fifty nominations from administrators, teachers, and families, each expressing their appreciation and gratitude to the special educators in their lives. Our winners are:

  • Special Education Team, Morton McMichael Elementary School, Philadelphia, PA

  • Special Education Department, Tate Topa Tribal School, Fort Totten, ND

  • O4W Genius Support Team, The Kindezi School, Atlanta, GA

  • KMS SES, Kodiak Middle School, Kodiak, AK

  • Highly Structured Autism Program, Vine Grove Elementary, Vine Grove, KY

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors: Drexel University and Messiah University. Your support has been instrumental in our mission to provide quality education and support to our teachers and students.
