ED Launches Website for Public Reporting of Instances of Discrimination

Billed the “End DEI” Portal, the U.S. Department of Education (ED) has established an online website for parents, teachers, students, and community members to upload information concerning instances of discrimination in publicly-funded schools.

Described as a portal to report of discriminatory practices, the submission form's title states “Schools should be focused on learning,” placing an emphasis on teaching practices rather than student interactions. The form goes on to explain it is “an outlet for students, parents, teachers, and the broader community to report illegal discriminatory practices at institutions of learning."  It then says that the Department of Education will utilize community submissions to identify potential areas for investigation.
