CEC Sponsors Briefing on IDEA Full Funding

The Los Angeles Unified School District, San Diego Unified School District, Council for Exceptional Children, School Superintendents Association, and the Coalition for Adequate Funding for Special Education are co-sponsoring a virtual briefing, Invest in Everyone: IDEA and the Importance of Full Funding on Tuesday, June 25th from 1:00 - 2:00 PM EST. The briefing will feature key leaders from both urban and rural school districts who will speak to the importance of fully funding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Hear from Members of Congress, school districts, and the parents and students they serve as they share their perspectives on the need to fully fund IDEA and how Congress can address the shortfalls of inadequate funding.
