Action Alert: Urge Congress to Increase Funding for Education

Two months into Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, lawmakers have yet to finalize spending levels, opting to extend FY 2022 spending through December 16 in lieu of a timely agreement. Backed up to the new deadline, appropriators have ramped up negotiations in an effort to come to a final agreement this month. This week, with pressure mounting, Members from both parties demonstrated optimism that a deal can be struck.

Now is the time to lend your voice in support of federal funding for education!
