Touch is essential for learners with visual impairments, hearing impairments, deafblindness and multiple/severe disabilities to gather information about their surroundings and for performing daily tasks. How we, as educators, interact with these students' hands is critical to their development of touch and concept development. The benefits of hand-under-hand guidance and co-active movement are discussed and demonstrated in this resource.
