The individualized education program (IEP) for students eligible for special education and related services is the foundation for all services. In this program, you’ll analyze the increasingly important role principals play in IEP development, meetings, and implementation. Much more than a paperwork exercise in compliance, the IEP is the foundation for each eligible student’s education for the whole year, and principals and assistant principals play key roles in the IEP process.
