University of Central Florida - Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities

The FCSUA serves Florida’s students with intellectual disabilities and their families, secondary and postsecondary educators, and their communities by providing support and resources to establish Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs at higher education institutions across their state. These programs increase independent living, inclusive and experiential postsecondary education, and employment opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities through degree, certificate, or nondegree programs at universities, state and community colleges, and career technical colleges across Florida.

They provide students with intellectual disabilities access to meaningful postsecondary education credentials and the opportunity to have a meaningful campus experience.
