OSEP Director Valerie Williams Features TN Program in November Newsletter

In their newsletter this month, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) Director Valerie Williams dedicated her attention to the 15th anniversary of National Apprenticeship Week. She highlighted that Clarksville-Montgomery School District in Tennessee has become the first registered apprenticeship approved by the U.S. Department of Labor to attract and prepare teachers, including special education teachers. Staff at OSEP are collaborating within and outside the agency to support the expansion of registered apprenticeship programs throughout the country. The newsletter also includes grant award announcements and links to new resource-rich websites.
