Last week, Director of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Mark Schneider published a blog detailing the work to be done by the organization in the coming years.

Schneider conveyed several promises and hopes to readers, including a revamping of their “rightfully unloved” website to increase usability, the establishment of a Center for Excellence in Education Data Sciences, and the creation of new programs that effectively utilize Statewide Longitudinal Data Systems data.
