Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT) Conference on May 14-17, 2022

Division for Research (CEC-DR) Lunching with the Experts

Join the CEC-DR Diversity Committee on March 31 to discuss "Lunching with the Experts" with Dr. Aydin Bal and his team. You can register using the button below or clicking here. You can also view last month's webinar on culturally responsive innovation in schools.

In addition, we are excited to welcome Dr. Emily Solari as the incoming CEC-DR Vice-President. Dr. Solari is the Edmund H. Henderson Professor of Reading Education at the School of Education and Human Development in the C&I and Special Education Department at University of Virginia (UVA). We appreciate her leadership and look forward to serving with Dr. Solari in the years ahead.

CEC Pioneers Division (CEC-PD) Ice Cream Social

Pioneer members are invited to attend an Ice Cream Social on April 21 from 7:00-8:00pm EST to continue its monthly celebrations of CEC's 100th Anniversary. Bring your favorite ice cream/gelato flavor and your favorite CEC anecdotes. We will swap ice cream recipes, play a CEC history trivia game, and engage with other CEC-PD members!

TED is excited to announce our three-part webinar series featuring Dr. LaRon A.Scott and Laurie VanderPloeg. Part two will be taking place on April 13 at 5:30pm EST. Division for Communication, Language, and Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DCD) Coffee Chat Session

DCD will host a Coffee Chat session on April 30 at 9:00 (PDT)/11:00 (CDT)/12:00 (EDT). This is a free, informal gathering for new and potential members to get to know each other, learn more about the work DCD is doing, and share ideas for future professional development projects and events. Use the Zoom link to join.

We are excited to announce our new 2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion student liaisons, who will help us engage with the expertise and perspectives of underrepresented communities and improve our commitment to intersectionality in special education:

Division for Emotional and Behavioral Health (DEBH) Presents Behavior Now!

Behavior Now! is a podcast series for educators and education professionals on topics related to the behavioral, mental, and social-emotional health of children. The Behavior Now! podcast offers a thoughtful discussion of current topics faced by those who support and educate youth with and without disabilities as part of DEBH's mission to bring quarterly media content to its members. Division for Early Childhood (DEC) Integrating Research and Practice in Early Childhood Intervention Conference

Registration is now open for "Integrating Research and Practice in Early Childhood Intervention," a joint conference hosted by the Division for Early Childhood (DEC) and the International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI).
