COVID-19 School Response Dashboard Unveiled
This week, the National COVID-19 School Response Dashboard—a national database that tracks schools’ responses to the pandemic—was released. The dashboard enables the public to view a snapshot of COVID-related school conditions in their own communities and compare that data to other regions, illustrating the wide variance in approaches to schooling and safety measures during the pandemic.
It currently includes data from hundreds of schools across the country and is continuing to expand. The tool is a collaborative project between the School Superintendents Association (AASA), the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, Brown University Professor of Economics Emily Oster, and Qualtrics.
